Best 24GB Graphics Laptops: 12 RTX 5090 and RTX PRO 5000 Picks

By Paul Syverson · Last updated Oct 20, 2026

Our top pick among 24GB graphics laptops is the Eluktronics HYDROC 16 G2R: an RTX 5090 with a 300Hz Mini LED screen, 64GB of memory and 4TB of storage at 2.83 kg, and the only listing here that states a battery size. For certified professional work, the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 with an RTX PRO 5000 is our pick. All 12 laptops carry one of the two 24GB laptop GPUs. We chose from stated specifications and NVIDIA and Intel published data, not from lab tests.

12 picks from 14 laptops that match this guide with a price we can quote today. Every price below is live and carries the moment it was read.

Side by side

How we picked

How we picked: 13 laptops in our catalogue state 24GB of graphics memory, all with an NVIDIA RTX 5090 or RTX PRO 5000. We kept 12. We dropped one reseller's ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 listing because it states the same processor, GPU, memory and storage as the Lenovo-branded P16 Gen 3 we kept. Only three picks are sold under the maker's own name (Lenovo, MSI and Eluktronics); the other nine are reseller builds from several resellers, which we label, since most 24GB laptops in the catalogue come through resellers. Two reseller Titan 18 HX builds differ mainly in memory; we kept both and say so. Prices are live, read from the store listing and shown with the time read. Nobody at wikilaptop.org has tested these units.

How to choose

Two GPUs carry 24GB: RTX 5090 and RTX PRO 5000

NVIDIA lists 24GB of GDDR7 for the GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU and 24GB of ECC memory for the RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell laptop GPU, with 10,496 CUDA cores. Both are on the Blackwell generation. In this list, nine picks carry the RTX 5090 and three the RTX PRO 5000.

The RTX 5090 is NVIDIA's top GeForce laptop GPU, aimed at games and creative apps. The RTX PRO 5000 targets professional software with certified drivers, and its ECC memory protects against memory errors in long computations. Match the GPU to your applications.

Who needs 24GB of graphics memory

The large memory holds big 3D scenes, high-resolution textures, long video timelines and larger AI models without running out. It helps most for running AI models locally, rendering complex scenes and professional visualization. For gaming alone at 1080p or 1440p, a laptop with 12GB or 16GB of graphics memory is usually enough.

Processor and system memory

Ten picks use Intel HX processors, built for plugged-in performance rather than battery life. Intel lists the Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus, 285HX and 275HX with 24 cores and 55W base power. The other two are the ProArt P16 build with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and the Zephyrus Duo build with a Core Ultra 9 386H.

System memory runs from 32GB to 256GB. For AI and 3D work, system memory at least as large as the graphics memory is a sensible floor; 128GB and above suits very large datasets.

Weight and screen size

Stated weights run from 1.85 kg (the ProArt P16 build) to 3.6 kg (the Titan 18 HX models), and four picks do not state a weight. Five picks are 18-inch and seven are 16-inch. An 18-inch Titan at 3.6 kg plus a large power adapter is a desk machine; the 16-inch picks are easier to move.

Maker listing or reseller build

Only three picks here are sold under the maker's own name: the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 3, the MSI Titan 18 and the Eluktronics HYDROC 16. The other nine come from several resellers, which configure other makers' laptops, often with more memory and storage than the maker lists.

With a reseller build, confirm the original maker and model, which parts were changed, whether the maker's warranty still applies, and who handles repairs and returns.

Questions

Who needs a laptop with 24GB of graphics memory?

Mainly people running larger AI models locally, rendering complex 3D scenes, working in professional visualization or editing high-resolution video with heavy effects. For gaming alone, 12GB or 16GB of graphics memory is usually enough, and those laptops are lighter and draw less power.

RTX 5090 or RTX PRO 5000: which should I choose?

Both have 24GB of graphics memory per NVIDIA. Choose the RTX PRO 5000 if your CAD, simulation or visualization software is certified for NVIDIA's professional GPUs, or if you want ECC memory. Choose the RTX 5090 if you game or use creative and AI tools that do not require certified drivers.

Is the RTX 5090 a good gaming GPU?

Yes. It is NVIDIA's top GeForce laptop GPU on the Blackwell generation, with 24GB of GDDR7 per NVIDIA. It draws a lot of power, so it performs best plugged in; in this list, laptops carrying it state weights from 1.85 kg to 3.6 kg. Real performance also depends on each maker's power limit and cooling.

Why are most of these laptops reseller builds?

Because most laptops in our catalogue with 24GB of graphics memory are sold through resellers that add memory and storage to other makers' designs. Nine of the 12 picks here are such builds. We label each one so you can check the base laptop, the warranty and who handles support before you buy.

Did you test these laptops?

No. Nobody at wikilaptop.org has used these units. We compared them on the specifications stated in each listing, cross-checked with NVIDIA and Intel published data. We do not describe heat, noise or keyboard feel, because those claims need testing we have not done.
